Montessori Education:   The Montessori Philosophy of Education is one of respect for others and the environment. We offer an individualized program of learning so that each child learns at his or her own pace. We encourage cooperation instead of competition. We endeavor to be partners with you in the education and care of your child and look forward to having your child at McHenry Montessori School. We encourage you to be involved in your child's early learning experiences by setting up classroom observations and participating in parent nights and parent/teacher conferences.

Our dedicated Staff:  We are currently celebrating our 20th year in McHenry!  Many of our families have children that have been with us since infants and now they are in our school age program or starting families of their own.   Our Director is celebrating her 18th year.  Our experienced teachers have dedicated themselves to attending conferences and trainings to expand their knowledge and keep up with the everchanging world of Montessori and Early Childhood Education.  We are extremely fortunate to have such a tight knit team of educators who are long term-most of our teachers are celebrating at least six years or more with our program and have years of experience working in the field.
